For 2010, the 5th Annual CIMBA Clash at the Camp mountain bike race has joined The Illinois Homegrown Race Series, which consists of nine races in nine different parks across the state of Illinois. Races include stops in Davenport, Moline, Peoria, East Peoria, Metamora, Bloomington-Normal, Chicago, Lake Shelbyville & Danville. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 race finishers in each category, and series awards to the top three category finishers in the complete series. For complete IHRS rules click here.

ADDITIONAL INFO
1ST TIMERS:
This category is for the individuals that want to try out racing for the first time and kids that are more advanced trail riders who can complete the 5 mile course.
KIDS RACES:
Kids' races are for kids 12 and under, held on an approx. ½ mile flat course.
AWARDS PRESENTATION:
Award winners wishing to claim their award are strongly encouraged to participate in the official awards
ceremony for that race. Racers unable to attend the awards ceremony are responsible for making arrangements
receive their award by emailing the race coordinator.
ENTRY FEES:
Registration fee is $25 for all racers and includes a one year CIMBA membership and event shirt. The Kid's
race is free (registration required). Walk-in registration closes 15 minutes prior to the start of the race.
RACING RULES:
1. ANSI or Snell approved helmets are mandatory for all racers.
2. Racers may finish the race by riding, pushing, or carrying a bike that is mechanically impaired so long as
all laps have been completed and no short-cutting of the course has occurred.
3. Racers must ride with courtesy at all times and allow faster riders to pass when trail space allows.
4. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated, and may result in the issuance of a DNF by a race official.
5. Falsification of registration information will result in the issuance of a DNF.
6. Race/rider protests may be filed with a race official within 20 minutes of completing the race.
The event organizers reserve the right to add/delete or combine classes or age groups depending on turnout. The
event organizers also reserve the right to modify course layout or cancel events depending on course conditions.
